INGREDIENTS

    Celery apple smoothie

    • 2/3 cup (160ml) Almond milk or any milk of your choice
    • 1/2 Green apple, chopped
    • 1 Celery stalk, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup/honey (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon Grated ginger (optional)

    Pina colada smoothie

    • 3/4 cup (180ml) Coconut milk
    • 80g Pineapple, frozen or fresh
    • 2 tablespoons (12g) Desiccated coconut
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)
    • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup/honey (optional) 

    Kale smoothie

    • 3/4 cup (180ml) Almond milk or any milk of your choice
    • 1oz (30g) Kale
    • 1/2 banana
    • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup/honey (optional) 

    Iced coffee

    • 1/2 cup (120ml) Oat milk or any milk of your choice
    • 1/2 cup (120ml) Coffee, cooled
    • 4-5 Ice cubes
    • 1 Medjool date or 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup/honey (optional) 

    Carrot shake

    • 2/3 cup (160ml) Water/orange juice/milk of choice
    • 1 carrot, medium
    • 1/2 Apple
    • 1 tablespoon Honey/maple syrup
    • Ice 

    Post workout protein shake

    • 3/4 cup (180ml) Almond milk or any milk of your choice
    • 1 scoop Whey protein powder
    • 2oz (60g) Mango, frozen
DIRECTIONS

  1. To the blender, add the milk, then the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blend for 1-2 cycles.
  3. Pour into a glass/cup/jar and enjoy!
  4. To clean the blender, add some soap, water and blend for 1 cycle. Then wipe the blender with a dry, clean towel.

WHAT SWEETENERS CAN WE USE TO MAKE SMOOTHIE?

In most of my smoothies I use maple syrup or honey, because they are the most accessible. But you can use any sweetener that you like, such as: agave syrup, stevia, date syrup, sugar or even dates. You can add more or less of the sweetener to control the sweetness.

 WHAT TYPES OF MILK CAN BE USED TO MAKE SMOOTHIES AND SHAKES?

You literally can use any liquid to make smoothies.

Some ideas: Homemade oat milk, homemade almond milk, cashew milk, soy milk, hazelnut milk, water, coffee and more.

WHAT CAN WE ADD TO OAT SMOOTHIES?

You can add almost any fruit that you like, you can add nuts, seeds, nut butter, greens and more. Be creative and try different flavors.
