Halloween Teeth Treats
2 Red apples
Peanut butter, smooth
Mini white marshmallows
Ghost Popcorn
1 package Popcorn
10oz (280g) White marshmallows
1/4 cup (60g) Butter
200g White chocolate, melted
Candy eyes or decorating eyes
Halloween Stuffed Peppers
6 Bell peppers
2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 Onion, chopped
1 cup Rice, cooked
1 Zucchini, chopped
1 small sweet potato, chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 can (400g) Tomato sauce
Mozzarella
DIRECTIONS
Halloween Teeth Treats
Cut the apples into 8 slices.
Spread each slice on one side with one teaspoon of peanut butter.
Arrange a line of mini marshmallows on one slice and cover with another slice. Lightly press to form teeth.
Ghost Popcorn
In a large pot heat butter and marshmallows. Stir until melted.
Add popcorn and stir until combined.
Grease your hands with butter and shape popcorn mixture into balls. Set aside
Melt white chocolate and dip each ball into chocolate and arrange them on a tray.
Decorate with candy eyes.
Halloween Stuffed Peppers
Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
Cut the tops of the peppers and remove the seeds.
Using a sharp paring knife, carve a Jack-O'-Lantern face into each pepper. Set aside.
In a large pan, heat olive oil. Add chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes. Add diced sweet potato and cook for 5 minutes, add diced zucchini and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add cooked rice stir and cook for 1 minute,
Fill each pepper with the filling mixture and top with mozzarella cheese. Cover with pepper tops.
Place the peppers into a baking dish, fill the dish with 1/2 cup of water. Cover the dish with aluminium foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
